Non-Convex Particle-in-Cell Model for the Mathematical Study of the Microscopic Blood Flow

The field of fluid mechanics was further explored through the use a particle-in-cell model for mathematical study Stokes axisymmetric flow swarm erythrocytes in small vessel. were modeled as inverted prolate spheroids encompassed by fictitious envelope. fourth order partial differential equation governing completed with Happel-type boundary conditions which dictate no slip on spheroid and shear stress free non-permeable boundary. Through innovative means, such Kelvin inversion method R-semiseparation technique, stream function obtained series expansion Gegenbauer functions first second kinds even order. Based this, analytical expressions meaningful hydrodynamic quantities, velocity pressure field, calculated depicted informative graphs. Using term function, drag force exerted erythrocyte coefficient relative to solid volume fraction cell. results present research can be used investigation particle–fluid interactions.
